Some people may still have nice summers, maybe, but the weather here has been grey, stormy and tropical for several years prior and now again. Miserable, actually. Gone are the days when July meant summer sun, blue skies, dry and warm, laying on a blanket by the pool in the morning. The old New England climate ain’t what it used to be.
But for anyone who is lucky enough to have such an imaginary summer, here’s a song to kick your heels up and hoe down your toes. And maybe later we’ll walk to the pharmacy and buy a few comic books for a dollar. And we’ll read them tonight in our sleeping bags.
